In honor of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, Everybody Wins! Iowa will be holding a Book Drive. From September 7-11, Everybody Wins! Iowa will be collecting elementary-level books to be given to children in need in the Des Moines Public Schools. Books should be appropriate for children in 2nd - 5th grades and should be new or slightly used. Please donate books at one of the following collection sites: Des Moines Public Library (all locations), ING, First American Bank (all 7 metro locations), Des Moines Education Association, Grounds for Celebration (Beaverdale), Iowa Department of Economic Development, Iowa National Guard, Meredith Corporation, New York Life Insurance, and the Science Center. Books can also be donated at the Everybody Wins! Iowa office (4114 Allison Ave., Des Moines). Contact Everybody Wins! Iowa for the location nearest you! September 11, 2010 is the second annual 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. September 11th is a day to unify your community in an effort to serve.
