The Italian American Heritage Festival makes its Downtown debut with two days of entertainment, contests and all things Italian. Enjoy everything from Italian folk dancers to a corporate bocce tournament to cooking demonstrations by Chef George Formaro and Tony Lemmo to a US Pizza Team demonstration to a presentation of Mama Mia. The event will be held on the Court Avenue Bridge from 11AM to 2AM on Friday and from 10AM to 2AM Saturday. There's no charge either day until 5PM. After 5PM there's a $5 entry fee per person. The high school boys of summer take the field for the Boys State Baseball Tournament at Principal Park, One Line Drive in the Court District. It's an evening of hip hop/rap/lyrical for those 21+ at Vaudeville Mews, 212 Fourth Street in the Court District. Opening will be Aeon Grey, Lethal Scriptures and Toby Diligent. Headliner is Eastern Sunz who will provide a fresh take on political, social and environmental issues in their performance. Doors for the show open at 9:30PM. Show starts at 10PM. Cover is $6.
